APRES BEACH BAR & GRILL

For 18 years the place to be in Palm Cove. (2000 to 2018) Great food, Great Atmosphere, Great entertainment, Casual fun and friendly. We like to thank all our Staff many of who worked between 5 and 15 years with us. You all were very important to the success of Apres, resulting in many long term customers and yearly returning holiday makers from around Australia and the Globe. The success of Après Beach Bar & Grill was determined by our success in operating as a unified team. (Jen Malone all credit goes to you) Open 7 days a week till 1AM, (our kitchen was open till 10PM) The phrase “let’s meet at Apres” is/was part of the local language in Palm Cove and is synonymous with mingling with old friends or making interesting new friends, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We also like to thank all our regular customers. Many of you have been loyal to us since we started, and many of you now have children who have become regular loyal visitors. Amazing and please know we appreciated your business for all those years. Well ahead of its time Apres sold over 100 international beers from around the world. It’s the “vibe” of a bar that determines its success or failure. Part of the reason Apres Beach Bar and Grill has been so popular, for so long, is the mood we’ve created by having great entertainment every week. Live Entertainment 7 days a week, plus Karaoke, Limbo Nights, Apres Crazy Piano’s, (concept from Europe and at the time popular on the Gold Coast) and our famous Theme nights/days, Halloween, Melbourne Cup ( we even had horses in the bar) St Patricks Day, Christmas in July, Christmas, New years Eve, and the twice yearly 60-70-80 nights. And for those who attended the 60-70-80 parties the slogan  If you were Born To Be Alive and Can’t Get Enough of that Night Fever, Get Into The Groove @ Apres. There is no place like it. We’ll Play That Funky Music @ Palm Coves most unique dining and party venue. You can Blame It On The Boogie and dance up a Disco Inferno at a Ballroom Blitz like no other… Can you feel it?

Time to retire and let Red Rock Catering (trading as Rattle & Hum) take over and bring it to the next level. I am sure with the resources and expertise they will and we wish them all the best with their new venture. We are off to continue our travels around the world
